A female unarmed pro-Trump protester who was shot and killed by Capitol police in Washington, DC has been identified as Ashli Babbit.
Babbit was a 14-year Air Force veteran who served 4 tours of duty overseas, according to KUSI-TV.
She was married and resided in San Diego, California.
The Air Force vet was shot and killed when a large group of peaceful Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol building as Congress was in the middle of debating the results of the Electoral College.
A witness to the shooting of Babbit described the tragedy during an interview with WUSA news.
