Supporters of President Donald Trump verbally called out Republican Senator Lindsey Graham at the Reagan National Airport calling the South Carolina lawmaker “traitor” for recently announcing he is severing his ties with the President after the Capitol Hill chaos.

“You work for the people; you work for us; do you hear me?” one protester yells at Senator Graham.

“Lindsey Graham, you are a traitor to the country! You knew it was rigged. You knew it was rigged, you garbage human being,” another one screamed at the senator, referring to the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. “It’s gonna be like this forever, wherever you go, for the rest of your life.”

The lawmaker was repeatedly called a “piece of s***” as chants of “traitor” and “audit our vote” broke out among the supporters of the Republican President.

Conservative Activist, Political Commentator Mindy Robinson, who took the video wrote: “Lindsey Graham just made the mistake walking by me and a mass of angry patriots at the airport in D.C.”

“All America wants is for you to AUDIT OUR VOTE and purge this election of this massive corruption … and you won’t do it. We’re not letting this “slide” so expect more of this,” she added.

She updated that the senator “didn’t make his flight” following the confrontation with angry Trump supporters in the airport.

Graham says ties with Trump over

Senator Graham declared his “journey” with President Trump is “over” after the breach at the nation’s capital on January 6 of reported supporters of the President protesting the election results.

“I hate it to end this way. Oh my God, I hate it,”the South Carolina senator said on the Senate floor. “From my point of view, he’s been a consequential president. But today, first thing you’ll see. All I can say is, count me out. Enough is enough. I’ve tried to be helpful.”

He also acknowledged that despite widespread reports of election irregularities that Congress refused to look into, Democrats Joe Biden is “the legitimate president of the United States.”

“I cannot convince people, certain groups, by my words. But I will tell you by my actions that I, above all others in this body need to say this, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are lawfully elected and will become the president and vice president of the United States on Jan. 20,” the Republican lawmaker said.

Senator Graham has seemed to have softened his stance against President Trump since then, and publicly voiced his opinion against the new round of impeachment being pushed by Democrats against President Trump just over a week until his term ends on January 20.

“As President @realDonaldTrump stated last night, it is time to heal and move on. If Speaker Pelosi pushes impeachment in the last days of the Trump presidency it will do more harm than good.I’m hopeful President-elect Biden sees the damage that would be done from such action,” he wrote launching a series of tweets about the impeachment.

“Speaker Pelosi is hanging by a political thread, and Senator Schumer lives in fear of a primary from the radical left. It is up to President-elect Biden to step in and allow the nation to heal.”

“Any attempt to impeach President Trump would not only be unsuccessful in the Senate but would be a dangerous precedent for the future of the presidency. It will take both parties to heal the nation.”

“I’m convinced impeachment, under these circumstances, will further divide the country and erode the institution of the presidency itself.”

Graham vows efforts against Big Tech protection

Senator Graham also said he is determined “more than ever” to strip Section 230 protections from Big Tech “that let them be immune from lawsuits” after the platform permanently banned President Trump from the platform.

“Twitter may ban me for this but I willingly accept that fate: Your decision to permanently ban President Trump is a serious mistake. The Ayatollah can tweet, but Trump can’t. Says a lot about the people who run Twitter,” he said.

“I’m more determined than ever to strip Section 230 protections from Big Tech (Twitter) that let them be immune from lawsuits,” he added.

“Big Tech are the only companies in America that virtually have absolute immunity from being sued for their actions, and it’s only because Congress gave them that protection.”

Ultimately, the GOP senator, who used to be one of the most ardent supporters of President Trump, reminded the public of the many achievements of the Trump administration — which he said is being erased by forces in the radical left.

“President Trump moved the country in the right direction last night with his statement. The radical liberal Democrats’ never-ending desire to keep the conflict going needs to be addressed by President-elect Biden,” he added.
