Former US ambassador to the United Nation Nikki Haley took a swipe at tech giants for their now forthright efforts “to silence” individuals after social media giants Twitter, Facebook and Instagram earlier announced suspension of President Donald Trump’s accounts across the platforms.

Haley slammed the tech giants saying the kind of censorship they’re pushing is “what happens in China, not our country.”

“Silencing people, not to mention the President of the US, is what happens in China not our country. #Unbelievable,” Haley wrote on Twitter.

Haley, who is also former South Carolina governor, made her comment after Twitter announced that it would permanently ban the 45th US President from its platform for “inciting violence” by using its platform.

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” the left-leaning Twitter said in a statement.

“In the context of horrific events this week, we made it clear on Wednesday that additional violations of the Twitter Rules would potentially result in this very course of action,” it added.

Twitter has also banned President Trump’s campaign account @TeamTrump.

Despite these rules, the social media platform was however silent on several times that far-left Democrats’ used their platform for anti-Semitic tweets. It also didn’t take any action against Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini’s earlier tweet casting doubt on the Holocaust. Critics also raised Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Israel had “hypnotized” the world tweet earlier.

Haley took notice of what she claimed as the social media’s bias. In November, after Twitter flagged her tweet about election fraud, the former ambassador to the UN slammed Twitter.

“Wow.  When Iran’s Ayatollah says the Holocaust didn’t happen, Twitter doesn’t say “this claim is disputed.”  When I say ballot harvesting makes election fraud easier, Twitter says that’s disputed.  Wonder why conservatives don’t trust big tech?” she said then.

Aside from Twitter, other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch have announced “indefinite suspension” of the American president’s accounts.

Earlier reports noted how Twitter and most social media platforms are run by Democratic donors and activists and 80% of Twitter’s corporate PAC contributions have also gone to Democratic candidates after the platform was accused by conservatives of “shadow-banning” Republicans, while giving Democrats unrestricted voice despite its claim that it has no political agenda.

Meanwhile, conservatives have started to flock to Parler, a free speech social media app partially owned by Dan Bongino, an American conservative political commentator, after the platforms’ censorship of President Trump.

“This will be my final post on this anti-American platform. The greatest threats to liberty are the destructive tech tyrants who have acted as publishers in their ongoing wars on conservatives & free speech. You can find me on Parler, where we respect free speech. I’m “dbongino,” he wrote.

The Scoop also announced that we would no longer be using Twitter and have switched to Parler as well.
