Nevada announced that it will stop giving updates on the election results in the state until Thursday morning.

The traditionally Democratic state announced that all in person early votes, all in person Election Day votes, and all mail ballots through November 2 were already part of the latest tally they’ve released as of November 4.

Meanwhile, votes mail ballots received on Election Day, mail ballots that will be received over the next week and provisional ballots are yet to be counted.

Latest Nevada tally showed around 86% of total votes already counted in a 49.3% to 48.7% result in favor of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

About 1.17 million votes have already been tallied in Nevada.

Nevada’s Democratic legislature earlier passed changes to Nevada’s election law allowing for a universal mail-in that would automatically send absentee ballots to all its registered voters and permit ballot harvesting.

President Donald Trump’s campaign and the Nevada GOP then sought to challenge the changes in court — arguing that it could open floodgates to fraud, among others.

@realDonaldTrump’s supporters are out in force today protesting Nevada Dems’ attempts to ram through mass mail-in voting & ballot harvesting. Dems want to use the pandemic to destroy election integrity,” GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel back then.

President Trump describing the new election law as “an illegal late night coup” also argued that Nevada is making it “impossible for Republicans to win the state.”

“Post Office could never handle the traffic of mail-in votes without preparation. Using COVID to steal the state. See you in Court!,” the Republican president said.

But closer to Election Day, a Nevada judge ruled against the Trump campaign’s lawsuit.

“There is no evidence of any debasement or dilution of any citizen’s vote,” Nevada’s Carson City Judge James Wilson claimed as he denied the lawsuit from the Trump campaign.

The Trump campaign had said that they’ve received complaints related to ballots being sent to wrong addresses, and misspelled and problematic names, among others. They’ve also provided photos as evidence of election ballots getting thrown, or arriving in wrong delivery address.
